what is occulus?

The five possible generals are:

1)  Oak

2)  Lord Erebus (Vampire Lord)

3)  Sedna

4)  Quenn of Thorns

4)  Occulus (unlikely to be released?)

hmmm, I'm operating off Lua files here, but unless the devs have really changed things Sedna and QoT are two seperate DGs. 

Sedna rides a tiger and has Yetis.  Queen rides in a seedpod carried by beetles and has Treants.

Did they merge?

I'd be disappointed if they went with Occulus over Sedna for release, AFAIK she is the only DG who explicitly heals (although I have no idea where I got this impression) and it would be nice to have a support character to play...

nah Sedna is the Cat-riding woman and Queen of Thorns is the flowergirl. Oculus is a non-confirmed General of whom a few concept arts and a few lua files existed in an earlier build (maybe still exists, don't know). We might get him later or maybe he was completely removed.

I don't remember which preview it was, but one of the ones I read said that Demigod was probably going to release with 8 demigods, with one more available for download soon after release. I'll hunt for a link if people want.

so this vid makes me wonder if we have our list correct.  It features Sedna, Oak, Lord Erebus, and an unnamed samurai DG we've been calling Yoshimitsu, who I think is an assassin..No Queen of Thorns..Did they drop her in favor of Yoshi, and does that make 5 assassins and 3 generals?

damn. i'm so annoyed right now. i got caught up looking at the new DGs and minions in the above video i tried to zoom in to get a better look.

i severly doubt that QoT has been removed. afterall, how many angsty-teens will outrage and boycot the game?

I doubt they pull her from the game since she appeared in the trailer, and anything in the trailer is solid for sure to be in the final release.
